MASTERS' SHOWCASE A

 

Beside looking at the traditional form this year, the festival will also feature two masters who have successfully traversed between artforms.

Makoto Matsushima is a contemporary dancer and choreographer who channels playfully between visual art, object design, dance, music, voice art and theatre, while Rady Nget is a celebrated classical and contemporary dance artist and choreographer.

MASTERS' SHOWCASE B

 

Both Kunqu and Javanese Dance carry with them hundreds of years of history. Their bodies are treasures, shaping the development of various traditional arts in Southeast Asia and Asia.

 

Witness our masters, Didik Nini Thowok and Shen Yili present their craft in the purest form, in a rare public showcase that will astound and awe.
